»Complete Now Debate This Projects for Week 3
As week number two comes to a close I can look back at all my work and know that I learned more in two weeks than in most of my US History class. Some Of my accomplishments this week included...
Writing a spliced speech using works from George Washington and Abraham Lincoln (See blog)
Explored different ways my community commemorates the Revolutionary War and Civil War (See Videos)
Wrote my own Declaration of Independence (This is a video that will be up later this week)
Interviewed American patrons at my local 4th of July Celebration (See Videos)
Volunteered at a local Non-Profit Community Radio station and handed out fliers and information on both the station and Now Debate This (Photos will be up shortly)
Read the Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers #10 & 51, Gettysburg Address, and the Emancipation Proclamation.
Now that I have those accomplishments completed I can only look to the future. In this coming week look for daily blogs, and some very interesting videos relating to the quest for freedom that both George Washington and Abraham Lincoln faced. It will be worth spending the two seconds that it takes to click on my name. So until tomorrow so long, and I hope everyone enjoys this coming week.
