it keeps coming back...

For homework in my government class today, I had to write an essay defending the Federalist view of the Constitution. And I thought to myself, "Who was perhaps the most famous, "unofficial" Federalist of the Revolutionary era?" George Washington, of course. I feel as though I am somehow being stalked by the first president of the United States. In addition to the essay, Washington has been popping up all over the place upon my return to Arizona. I have counted, and there are over 10 Washington p… Continue

Lincoln Photo Commentary

I have written this commentary twice lol, and both times my internet connection timed out before I could submit or save my work as a draft. I hope u enjoy my take on Lincoln and the photo. The question is, which style do i prefer? President Hayes' or VP Neal's? Great Job to both of yall! S… Continue

jonesboro...

The cold, bleak, white Jonesboro sky. A perfect backdrop for a clashing of the titans, or perhaps, a clashing of a “little giant” and a “well meaning baboon.” The men stand poignantly in the black shadows that gently caress the stark, white stone underfoot, a beautiful dichotomy as blatant as the heights of the two men. Is not the story of the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858 a magnificent clash, a remarkable contrast, between old political wisdom and new, vibrant ideology, between the establishe… Continue
